Which one is better, Static or Dynamic?
A Static Website is created in Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and each page is a separate HTML file. This means that even if two pages contain similar information (like in Footer), they both have different versions. So if you need to update the footer you have to do it twice in case of static websites.
A Dynamic Website is created using additional complex code and server technologies (such as PHP, WordPress, Joomla). One can do a lot more than static websites here. For instance you can easily update designs and content which is a tedious thing in static websites.

Can I see my website while it’s in the development phase?

What if I change my mind about the look and feel of the website?
Once you have finalized the general layout of the approved design we start the development of the website. If in case you change your mind regarding the layout or any other major alteration, then we will complete upto 2 revisions free of cost. But more than that will be chargeable. However all small revisions will be free of cost during development phase.
But if you change your mind after the website gets live then it will be treated as a fresh project and you will be billed as per standard hourly rates.
What is your payment structure?
For small website design and development projects we accept 50% of the total cost as an advance and the remaining amount on completion.
For large websites, 1/3rd of the total fee is charged as advance payment. The second installment of the fee on reaching halfway point in the project and the final payment on completion of the project.
I need some variations on my Website. Do you arrange for that service?
Yes! If it’s about one time change then we will advise our rough estimate and charge at our standard hourly rates.
But if you need regular updates on your website then we suggest to go with our Monthly Maintenance Plans which will be more reasonable for you. Please contact us to know about our Maintenance plans.
What options do you give to update Content?
ICO WebTech suggests three options for maintaining and updating your website’s content. Though we do not play favors in the three options but we propose to update your website timely.
- Pay only when you need: Just contact us whenever you need to make an update in the content. We will close the ticket within 48 hours or less and bill you as per our standard hourly rate. However if it’s urgent we can get it done within a few hours at additional charge.
- Monthly Maintenance Package: Subscribe to our monthly maintenance package and get the updates published in a much cost effective way apart from the other benefits.
- Content Management System (CMS): We can develop a Content Management System for you using which you can easily make the desired updates in your website.
Who owns the Website after completion?
Just as we receive the final payment, we will transfer 100% ownership to you. This will include the source code of your website and assured confidentiality.
Ongoing Costs
There are certain ongoing costs which you have to bear depending on the packages you purchased earlier. You have to renew website & email hosting, SSL certificates and the domain registration annually or after 2 years or so depending on the package you purchased.
How do you maintain websites?
We maintain websites by taking regular back-ups, scanning them against any virus, adding new content provided by the owner, and editing or adding new images provided by the website owner.
